When psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi coined the term ‘flow state’ in the 1970s, he could well have been describing that sweet, transient moment on the wave – when everything comes together, and the rest of the world simply falls away.

So what is flow? Why does it feel so good? And how do we find it?
